Re•Present
As a photographer, I have had the privilege to work with many small businesses to share their brand through photography. In an initial consultation we discuss my analysis of their social media accounts, visual solutions to accompany their previous posts, and general visual marketing expertise to help each business grow exponentially through clicks and followers on their own social media accounts. Each individual shoot, whether on location or in a studio, create buzz with each additional post or share of my photography.
As a cumulation of my artistic experience through photography, I had the ability to create an art presentation entitled Re•Present. As a fan of historical portraits, I recognized African Americans were missing the exaggerated, yet enigmatic portraits that share history through the worlds of the noblemen and women throughout time. Museums have walls covered in these elaborate and overly decorated portraits, yet an entire race of people do not have a collection they can call their own. My art serious of over 25 images with close to 30 models, allowed me to create what I felt history was missing and what many generations deserved to call their own.
